Today I visited the Lady Lever art gallery in Bebington, They mainly show paintings from the victorian era which not usually the type of art that interests me. However, I was able to appreciate the beauty of some of the paintings. I was particularly excited to see The Black Brunswicker which is a painting by John Everett Milliais, a painting which my Dad and I have admired for some time. Unfortunately I learned from a member of staff that the painting had been moved to the Walker which I had planned to visit next. While I enjoyed my visit I did not gain much inspiration for my project as the work was so different from what I am doing.
