We have had a lecture explaining to us what we should consider when pricing our work. Using the model I have worked out my expenses and ultimately, how much I should charge for my work.
Accommodation
Rent: 4,000
Heat/Light: 1,400
Water: 600

Council tax: 1,600
Buildings Insurance: 300
Contents: 250
Phone/Broadband: 600
Minor repairs: 500
Total 9,250
Transport
Car Depreciation: 1,000
Insurance: 1,000
Tax: 500
Servicing / Repairs: 400
Fuel per year: 1,300
Total: 4,200
Living expenses
Food: 2,860
Clothing: 600
Entertainment: 500
Holiday: 1,300
Total: 5,260
Equipment:
Computer: 1,200

This means that including tax and National Insurance (which is 22%) I should be earning a minimum of £24,778 a year
