Today I visited the Walker art gallery in Liverpool where I viewed work by Benedict Drew, his work was very eye catching and colourful. His work mainly contained bright neon installations which made you feel as if you were in another world once once you entered the room. In the centre is a fluorescent image of Richard Branson with orange cables coming from his eyes, I found this piece rather strange and neither I nor my boyfriend could figure out the artists reasoning behind the piece. However, this is what I like about this piece, it confuses people and gets people talking. I would like my work to be as eye-catching and mesmerising as Drew's.
